St Vincent’s Private Hospital is seeking a professional, passionate and highly experienced cleaner to work with the Environmental Services team at the Darlinghurst Campus.


The Opportunity

  • Ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned thoroughly and of a high standards at all times
  • Assist Supervisors as directed
  • Work both undirected and in a team environment
  • Multi skill across the Darlinghurst campus consisting of Private & Public Hospital, The Sacred Heart Hospice, The St Vincent’s Clinic & Precinct Partners as directed
  • Honesty and integrity when dealing and incorporating our hospital mission and values within every facet of our daily operations.

Shifts range from:

  • Day shifts (varied start times and rotational rosters)
  • Afternoon/evening shifts (varied start times)

About You


The candidate must have:

  • Full availability throughout the week
  • Experience in Housekeeping operations in either a Hospital or Hotel environment
  • Extremely high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate polishers and scrubbers however not essential
  • Ability to work in a team or unsupervised
  • Punctuality and reliability, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a rotational roster with 7 day availability including weekdays, weekend and public holidays, morning and afternoon shifts if required
  • Adhering to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries
